Tetrasensor helps detecting the amount of tetracycline antibiotics present in animal and food samples. This screening test allows detecting all tetracycline molecules (tetracycline, oxytetracycline, doxycycline and chlortetracycline) at least at 10 ppb.

Tetracyclines are broad-spectrum bacteriostatic antibiotics that are extensively used in veterinary and human medicine for the treatment of a wide variety of bacterial infections.
How to use
This test can be done at 25°C ± 5°C (room temperature).
There are two protocols available, one for Raw Tissues and another one for Processed Meat (including cooked meat).

The test is applicable for muscle tissue from a range of animal species including bovine, porcine, ovine and poultry. Presence of Tetracycline in Seafood and Fish can also be determined with Tetrasensor.
