TetraSensor is a rapid assay in dipstick format detecting the contamination of tissue samples by Tetracyclines molecules.

Principle

Tetrasensor is a receptor-based assay for rapid determination of the amount of tetracycline present in animal and food samples. The screening test allows detecting all tetracycline molecules (tetracycline, oxytetracycline, doxycycline and chlortetracycline) at least at 10 ppb.​

There are two protocols available, one for Raw Tissues and another one for Processed Meat (including cooked meat).

Technical Details

The test is applicable for muscle tissue from a range of animal species including bovine, porcine, ovine and poultry. Presence of Tetracycline in Seafood and Fish can also be determined with Tetrasensor.
