IFCN’s Top 10 Dairy Farms list
The International Farm Comparison Network (IFCN) just released a list of the largest dairy farms in the world.
There are basically two rankings of farming companies based on raw milk production and the number of milking animals in 2018/2019 with IFCN estimations.
The massive growth of the dairy sector in the last 20 years was slightly more driven by greater productivity of the dairy animals than by an increase in their numbers.
China is hosting 5 of the 10 largest farming companies in the world!
